The story behind Austral Care & Support

Austral Care began after honest conversations with families who felt their disability support didn’t reflect what life looked like at home. Rushed visits, unclear communication and constant changes made it hard to build stable routines or meaningful progress.

Because of our backgrounds in social work, psychology and community work — and lived experience supporting people with disability in our own families — those concerns felt deeply familiar. We understood how important steady, respectful support is. Austral Care was created to offer the kind of disability support that works alongside families, stays consistent and fits the realities of everyday life.
