OUR SUPPORT SERVICES

Helping people live well and build skills

OUR APPROACH

Led by listening and understanding

Good support only works when people feel heard. We pay close attention to the small things — the usual morning rhythm, preferred communication style or the signs that someone needs a slower or quieter day. Families often understand these details best, and their insight helps us shape practical, respectful support.

OUR LOCAL FOCUS

Austral Care is part of your community

We work with people across Western and South-Western Sydney because this is our own community too. Knowing the area the way you do — the parks, the shopping strips, the quieter routes, the busy corners — helps us shape support that makes sense in real life.

WHY WE DO THIS

Disability support built on real values

Austral Care was founded by Rejani and Hulio after years of listening to families talk honestly about what was and wasn’t helping in day-to-day life. Those conversations shaped the values they continue to lead with — respect, consistency and support that fits real situations, not assumptions.

With backgrounds across social work, psychology and community-based roles, our team's focus stays on the practical things that make days run better. That means checking in regularly, involving families and adjusting support as life changes, rather than treating it like a fixed list of tasks.

GOOD TO KNOW

FAQs

Here we answer a few practical questions to help you understand how we work.

Do you only support Western and South-Western Sydney?

Our team is based in Western and South-Western Sydney, which helps us keep visits consistent and routines reliable. We also support nearby areas where travel time doesn’t affect the quality of time spent together. If you’re unsure whether your location is a good fit, we’re always happy to talk it through.

How involved can my family be?

Families play a central role because they often understand what works best day to day. Their insight helps us shape support that feels natural rather than forced. We stay in touch, check in regularly and make changes when something no longer fits.

Is the contact form required before we speak?

Not at all. The form gives us a starting point, but it’s never a barrier. If you prefer to call first — or if filling in forms is difficult — a phone call is perfectly fine and we’ll take it from there.

Will I have the same support team?

As much as possible, yes. We aim to match you with workers who can stay involved for the long term, so your routines feel familiar and predictable. If a change is ever needed, we’ll talk with you first and make sure the handover is clear and respectful.

What if my needs change?

Support isn’t fixed, so we check in and adjust things when life shifts. This might mean changing the type of help you receive, the times we visit or what we focus on together. We make those changes in conversation with you and your family, so the support stays relevant and comfortable.
